Windy City Production is an Aurora, IL-based wedding photography and cinema studio serving the greater Chicago market, led by husband-and-wife team Sam and Katie Velasquez. The studio offers photo, cinema, or combined coverage, including Sam's hybrid solo coverage where one shooter handles both crafts with one cohesive vision; Sam and Katie packages include a 14-day turnaround on fully edited galleries and cinema films. Founded in 2012, Windy City Production has earned a Knot Hall of Fame designation, three internationally-ranked WedAwards titles, and recognition of Katie among the World's Top 10 Women Photographers, with 500-plus reviews across Google, WeddingWire, Facebook, and Yelp averaging just shy of 5 stars. Based in Aurora, IL, serving the greater Chicago market. Couples highlight Sam's ability to put people at ease on camera, the team's unobtrusive presence during ceremonies, transparent pricing and communication, and quick turnaround on photos and video; some note that scheduling calls through the website is more reliable than email or phone.

This vendor hasn’t completed verification

Verified vendors have uploaded credentials such as a business license or proof of insurance, and our team reviewed each document by hand. Verification is a trust signal, not a requirement: you can still reach out, and payments run through Stripe either way.

Windy City Production hasn't claimed their United Vows profile yet, but you can still reach them.

We don't have an email address on file for Windy City Production, so we can't forward an inquiry to them. The way to reach them today is to call (708) 663-0637. You can still send one here — we'll keep it on your inquiries list, and it will be waiting for them the moment they claim this profile.

Two things worth knowing before you transact:

If your booking happens on United Vows: A $100 United Vows welcome or favor credit, if you hold one — this credit comes off one booking here, in full, funded from our commission on it, once that booking is a booking of $2,900 or more, paid to them in a single payment of at least $1,500 — you get messaging, quotes and contracts in one place, your payment runs securely through Stripe against a signed contract, and if the vendor no-shows, cancels close to your date or delivers nothing you can file a claim from the booking, which they have seven days to answer.
If the booking happens off-platform: none of the above. Your credits don't redeem. We can't help if anything goes sideways.

The simplest move: when you reach out, ask Windy City Production to claim their profile. It's free and takes a few minutes. It keeps your booking on the platform where everything we built for you actually works.
