Northside Brass Music Co. is a Geneva-based live music company offering wedding bands, jazz bands, brass bands, and string quartets for weddings and private events. The company offers flexible ensembles including string quartet, jazz quartet, swing band, and brass band, with fully customized song selections, custom arrangements, and New Orleans-style second line options. Founded in 2011 by Chicago trumpet player and educator Ryan Hobbs, the company grew from a brass quintet performing chamber music in Chicago into a multi-ensemble music company serving Chicago, the Fox Valley, and the greater Midwest. Musicians on the roster have performance credits with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and Broadway in Chicago. Serves Chicago, the Fox Valley, and the greater Midwest, including Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Couples cite easy communication with Ryan, flexibility with custom arrangements (including walk-down-the-aisle pieces arranged by family members), and guests being noticeably impressed by the live sound during ceremonies and cocktail hours.

Verified vendors have uploaded credentials such as a business license or proof of insurance, and our team reviewed each document by hand. Verification is a trust signal, not a requirement: you can still reach out, and payments run through Stripe either way.

Northside Brass Music Co. hasn't claimed their United Vows profile yet, but you can still reach them.

We don't have an email address on file for Northside Brass Music Co., so we can't forward an inquiry to them. The way to reach them today is to call (630) 715-2720. You can still send one here — we'll keep it on your inquiries list, and it will be waiting for them the moment they claim this profile.

Two things worth knowing before you transact:

If your booking happens on United Vows: A $100 United Vows welcome or favor credit, if you hold one — this credit comes off one booking here, in full, funded from our commission on it, once that booking is a booking of $2,900 or more, paid to them in a single payment of at least $1,500 — you get messaging, quotes and contracts in one place, your payment runs securely through Stripe against a signed contract, and if the vendor no-shows, cancels close to your date or delivers nothing you can file a claim from the booking, which they have seven days to answer.
If the booking happens off-platform: none of the above. Your credits don't redeem. We can't help if anything goes sideways.

The simplest move: when you reach out, ask Northside Brass Music Co. to claim their profile. It's free and takes a few minutes. It keeps your booking on the platform where everything we built for you actually works.
