The Newton is a Phoenix event venue and mixed-use concept located at 300 W Camelback Rd, housed inside the former Beef Eaters building, a historically notable structure in Central Phoenix. The Newton offers two private event spaces alongside an on-site bookstore (Changing Hands Bookstore), restaurant (Southern Rail), and retail, operating under a read, eat, shop concept. The Newton is an adaptive reuse project by Venue Projects, LLC and John Douglas Architects, built inside Phoenix's former Beef Eaters building, which dates to 1950 and is named after its founder Jay Newton. Located in Central Phoenix at the northwest corner of 3rd Avenue and Camelback Road, near the light rail stop on Central Ave. and Camelback Road.
