Special Occasion Band

Special Occasion Band (SOB) is a Kernersville-based live band available for wedding receptions, parties, civic events, and other occasions, with DJ coverage during set breaks. The band plays Carolina Beach music and a broad variety of familiar tunes, with noted MC work and a playful stage presence throughout the night. Established in 1986, Special Occasion Band has been performing across the Carolinas for over 36 years and is approaching its 40th anniversary in 2026.
