Mt. Hood Organic Farms is a 200-acre century-old orchard estate in the Hood River Valley, operating as a wedding venue at the base of Mt. Hood in Mount Hood, Oregon. The venue features heirloom apple and pear orchards, English gardens, craftsman and historic architecture, and reception dining in The Apple House with farm-to-table meals by Cultivate Catering; three Cascade volcanoes are visible from the property. Brady and John Jacobson transformed the farm over 42 years into the first certified organic orchard in Oregon and the largest Demeter certified Biodynamic farm in the country; the farm began hosting weddings 21 years ago and has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, Vogue, House and Garden, Oregon Bride, and Style Me Pretty. Located at 7130 Smullin Drive, Mt. Hood, Oregon, approximately 20 minutes from Hood River and the Columbia River Gorge. Couples and vendors highlight the panoramic views of Mt. Hood, the well-kept gardens and orchards, the family-style farm-to-table food by Cultivate Catering, and the coordination team led by Brady Jacobson alongside coordinators Cassandra and Kristen for organized, smooth-running events.
