Louiza is a community-centered event venue located in NE Portland, hosting birthday parties, art shows, and wedding receptions, among other events. The space features a large collection of couches, chairs, and tables, an exposed wood centerpiece table, a small stage for performances or presentations, and a flexible layout suited to everything from work meetings to cocktail parties. Catering and hosted bar options are available. Formerly a community-oriented cafe for over 15 years, Louiza is a women-led and Black-owned business in Portland. Located in NE Portland, centrally off of MLK. Guests at wedding-related events highlight the light-filled, decorated space, attentive staff including Shobhna and DeAngelo, food quality and presentation, and a smooth planning process that left hosts stress-free.
