Semperflora is a Portland-based florist and integrated wedding design studio operated by the duo Dicentra and Lazarus, offering floral design, creative direction, photography, and videography for weddings and elopements in Oregon and Washington. Semperflora is known for interpretive floral design in which each bloom is chosen for symbolic meaning tied to the couple's relationship, combined with photography and full creative direction under one team. The business began in 2020 when Dicentra made her first wedding bouquet and boutonniere with no formal florist experience, followed by a horticulture and floral design degree program and two years of education and hands-on experience before expanding into creative direction and photography in 2023. Based in Portland, Oregon, Semperflora serves weddings and microweddings across Oregon, Washington, California, and Idaho, and also takes a limited number of destination events each year. Couples consistently highlight the symbolic, story-driven approach to floral arrangements, the team's calm problem-solving on the wedding day, and personal touches such as custom bud vases tailored to individual partners.
