Higher Ground Entertainment is a Portland-based wedding and event DJ company with a team of DJs, event hosts, and dancers serving the Pacific Northwest and beyond. The company focuses on personalized playlists, live crowd reading, modern MCing, and event production including lighting design, with a boutique approach rather than cookie-cutter setups. Founded by Ben Gershen and Mason Case after working with clients at venues across the West Coast, including Silicon Valley and Napa Valley, the team built its foundation across weddings and high-profile productions before launching Higher Ground. Higher Ground serves Portland, Eugene, and Bend in Oregon, as well as Seattle and Vancouver in Washington, and is available for destination weddings worldwide.
