Dream Destination Weddings & Events is a Portland-based wedding and events planning studio led by Cherish Simpson, offering services from day-of coordination through full destination planning. Cherish offers four wedding service tiers (coordination-only, partial planning, full planning, and destination planning), with destination packages covering Hawaii, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and Turks and Caicos, plus social and corporate event planning and proposal coordination. Cherish brings 10-plus years of experience and 250-plus weddings since 2014, with a background that includes event planning at Howard University, serving as Food and Beverage Director for a boutique hotel, working with a top catering company in the Washington D.C. metro area, and becoming Catering Director for one of Portland's social clubs. Based in Portland, serving the Pacific Northwest and beyond, with destination packages available in Hawaii, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the US and British Virgin Islands, the Caribbean, and Turks and Caicos. Photographers and couples who have worked with Cherish consistently highlight her calm presence, organizational skill, honest guidance through decisions, advocacy for couples and guests, and her embrace of all couples regardless of background.
