Portland Center Stage is a theater company based in Portland, Oregon, housed at The Armory at 128 NW Eleventh Ave, offering classical, contemporary, and world premiere productions each season. Each season includes roughly 150,000 visitors attending a mix of classical, contemporary, and world premiere productions, along with the annual JAW New Play Festival and education and community programs. Established in 1988 as a branch of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the company became independent in 1994 and currently offers around nine productions each season along with more than 400 community events. Located in Portland's Pearl District, with audiences attending from across the country and abroad.
