The LoveTap

The LoveTap is a San Diego-based wedding DJ company, based in Little Italy, led by DJ Conner (DJ DECON) and offering full-event DJ services with optional live musicians. The LoveTap pairs DJ sets with live saxophone, violin, or piano across ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and covers genres ranging from hip-hop and house to Latin, country, and Bollywood; their DJs also handle emcee duties, concert-style lighting, uplighting, monogram projection, and ceremony microphone systems using Shure QLXD wireless equipment. Conner founded The LoveTap after a decade of DJ'ing in nightclubs and events around the world, having performed alongside artists including Justin Timberlake, Drake, Snoop Dogg, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, and Bad Bunny; the company has played over 3,000 events. Based in San Diego's Little Italy, with destination wedding travel to locations including Cabo, Santorini, Catalina, St. Tropez, Aspen, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Puerto Vallarta, and Sayulita. Couples consistently report packed dance floors all night, praise Conner's ability to read a crowd across genres (including hip-hop to emo in one night), highlight his detailed planning documents and organized emcee work, and note that he personally checked in on them throughout the day; the DJ and live sax combination receives frequent guest compliments.
