Sleeping Giant Music is a San Diego-based music and booking agency serving private, corporate, and wedding events through its SGM Events division. The agency books DJs for weddings and events, and also offers equipment rental; its DJs have handled MC duties, custom song mixing, and projector setup for reception video playback. Sleeping Giant Music has been operating in the entertainment industry for over 20 years, functioning as the parent company of SGM Agency and SGM Events. Based in San Diego, with a global touring division that delivers entertainment on a global scale. Reviews highlight DJs who managed timelines, mixed custom songs for dances, and read the crowd well, though one couple reported significant issues with a specific DJ including poor song transitions, low speaker volume, and an unresponsive attitude.

This vendor hasn’t completed verification

Verified vendors have uploaded credentials such as a business license or proof of insurance, and our team reviewed each document by hand. Verification is a trust signal, not a requirement: you can still reach out, and payments run through Stripe either way.

Sleeping Giant Music hasn't claimed their United Vows profile yet, but you can still reach them.

We don't have an email address on file for Sleeping Giant Music, so we can't forward an inquiry to them. The way to reach them today is to call (858) 270-2195. You can still send one here — we'll keep it on your inquiries list, and it will be waiting for them the moment they claim this profile.

Two things worth knowing before you transact:

If your booking happens on United Vows: A $100 United Vows welcome or favor credit, if you hold one — this credit comes off one booking here, in full, funded from our commission on it, once that booking is a booking of $2,900 or more, paid to them in a single payment of at least $1,500 — you get messaging, quotes and contracts in one place, your payment runs securely through Stripe against a signed contract, and if the vendor no-shows, cancels close to your date or delivers nothing you can file a claim from the booking, which they have seven days to answer.
If the booking happens off-platform: none of the above. Your credits don't redeem. We can't help if anything goes sideways.

The simplest move: when you reach out, ask Sleeping Giant Music to claim their profile. It's free and takes a few minutes. It keeps your booking on the platform where everything we built for you actually works.
