The Hall of State is a 1936 Neoclassical and Art Deco venue in Dallas' Fair Park, managed by the Dallas Historical Society and available to rent for weddings and other private events. The venue offers several distinct spaces for events, including the Hall of Heroes for cocktails, the Great Hall for dinners, clear tents on the front lawn for dancing, and additional rooms such as the Margaret and Al Hill Lecture Hall and the Texas Rooms. Built in 1936 for the Texas Centennial Exposition, the Hall of State has hosted events honoring presidents, royalty, heads of state, and other dignitaries for over eighty years. Located in Fair Park, just minutes from downtown Dallas, at 3939 Grand Avenue. Visitors consistently highlight the Art Deco architectural details, including the 12-foot gold leaf medallion, hand-stenciled ceilings, and large-scale murals, as well as the welcoming and knowledgeable staff.
