The Veranda

The Veranda is a San Antonio wedding and special events venue set on a 1931 estate in the Castle Hills neighborhood, owned and managed by Spice of Life Catering. The property includes a local stone estate house, an artist cottage, a covered pavilion, and oak-lined lawns, with in-house catering and bar service provided by Spice of Life Catering under Chef Mike Bomberg, whose menus carry an international influence. The Veranda opened in May 2013 after Chef Mike Bomberg purchased and renovated the historic Slimp estate; Spice of Life Catering, which owns and operates the venue, was founded in 2004. Based in San Antonio.
