Lost Mission is a wedding venue in Spring Branch, Texas, set on over 60 acres in the Texas Hill Country with a Spanish-style chapel and a reception hall. The venue features an authentic mission chapel constructed from straw bales with white stucco, 1890s pews shipped from a Pennsylvania church, a reclaimed mission bell, a 40-foot firewall, on-site catering, and optional add-ons including farm tables, Edison lights, and drapes. Construction began in July 2009, when contractor Lon Danley stacked over 6,500 straw bales to form the buildings and walls on the property. Located at 2101 Anhalt Road in Spring Branch, Texas, off Highway 46 between Boerne and Highway 281, approximately 16 miles east of Interstate Highway 10. Couples frequently mention the venue coordinator's responsiveness and organization, the chapel, the stream running through the property, and on-site catering that has drawn specific praise for dishes including a grazing table, Tuscan chicken, and Caesar salad.
