"This long-standing, family-run bakery produces traditional Mexican sweet breads, pastries & cookies."
Bedoy's Bakery is a family-owned San Antonio bakery founded in 1961, now in its fourth generation, producing traditional Mexican sweet breads, pastries, and cookies. Known for pan dulce, conchas, Pan de Muerto, and Roscas de Reyes baked from original family recipes, including traditions tied to San Antonio's Dia de los Muertos and Dia de Los Reyes celebrations. Founded by Manuel and Emma Bedoy in 1961, now celebrating 65 years with four generations of bakers; Manuel Bedoy introduced the first Roscas de Reyes to San Antonio 50 years ago and was asked by the Rector of San Fernando Cathedral to bake Pan de Muerto. Two locations in San Antonio: 803 W. Hildebrand and 2714 Hillcrest; also available on Uber Eats. Customers consistently note the fresh aroma, quality and variety of baked goods, reasonable prices, and friendly staff across both locations.
