Kahani Events & Design is a Minneapolis-based wedding planner and design studio led by Reena Maheshwari, focused on culturally specific and multicultural weddings and events. Kahani offers a la carte services ranging from full wedding planning and event design to henna, rangoli, and ethnic rental inventory, with a focus on balancing cultural traditions with each couple's values and budget. Reena Maheshwari has a background in planning events from her teenage years through college, holds a BS in Merchandising and Management and a Master's in Education, and co-owned a business in the design and construction industry for over a decade before founding Kahani; the studio has been featured in Peerspace, BrideMagazine, Plymouth and Woodbury Magazine, Minnesota Bride Magazine, Munaluchi Bride Magazine, and The Wedding Guys. Kahani is based in downtown Minneapolis at 1313 Chestnut Ave, Suite 110, and serves the Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Greater MN areas. Couples highlight Reena's thorough attention to detail on multi-day events, consistent communication throughout the planning process, personalized decor that reflects who they are, and a team that allows clients to fully enjoy their events without stress.
