Sonorous Strings

Sonorous Strings is a Minneapolis string ensemble offering quartet, trio, and duo configurations for weddings and other events, led by violinist and violist Krista Broadway Swider, who formed the group in 2005. The ensemble is known for custom song arrangements, including original string arrangements of pop songs written to match client requests, and has been featured performing at a wedding on Netflix's Love is Blind (Season 8). Krista Broadway Swider has been playing for over 30 years and graduated with a degree in Violin Performance in 2004; she has been managing Sonorous Strings since 2005. Based in Minneapolis, Sonorous Strings performs around Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Couples and planners consistently note Krista's responsiveness and thoroughness before the event, the ensemble's flexibility with last-minute requests and custom arrangements, and guests frequently complimenting the sound.
